Jessi was an amazing nurse who helped me with each step of taking care of my little one, teaching me latching and healing, and explaining everything so concisely.
I  had an unplanned C section delivery. From the recovery room to the postpartum room, I was still confused and dazed.

Jessi was an amazing nurse who helped me with each step of taking care of my little one, teaching me latching and healing, and explaining everything so concisely.

Every single day, it was a pleasure to see her, and I knew we were in good hands.

I did not know how to maneuver out of the bed without pain, Jessi helped me walk to the bathroom, teach me how to get up, hold my child correctly, latch even help with the lactation consultant. The words of encouragement that I was doing great and better each day helped me so much that I was able to go home one day earlier than expected, as I had recovered so well.

She made sure that even my bleeding was getting better and literally taught me how to maintain proper hygiene. We all know these things, but when postpartum hits, it gets difficult to process these little things. She has so much compassion and love for her patients. I had literal tears in my eyes when I saw how selflessly she helped me.

She helped me collect colostrum even when I had a little supply and helped monitor feeds with the little one. She made sure he was attentive, well rested, and cared for, e.g., staying warm, diaper changes, and calming him when he cried. She was Mother Teresa for me in those moments.

I am forever indebted to her for taking care of my son and me. I wish every nurse could learn something from her, and I pray for her to achieve the greatest honor.
