She never hesitated to go the extra mile, and I truly felt like I was in the best possible hands.
From the moment I met her, she went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. During labor, Jesse’s compassionate demeanor and expert guidance helped ease my fears and gave me the confidence to stay strong throughout the process. She understood that I was a first-time mom and patiently listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and explained each step clearly, making sure I always felt informed and supported. Her calm presence and ability to anticipate my needs truly made a difference during such an intense and emotional time.

During delivery, my baby had shoulder dystocia and was born unresponsive. Jesse was by my side and did the McRoberts maneuver to assist me in delivering my daughter. I was frightened, but knowing Jesse was by my side and she remained calm and compassionate, offering constant reassurance that the medical team was doing everything they could for my baby. Her presence provided me with a sense of comfort and strength during a time of intense uncertainty. Despite the urgency of the situation, she made sure I understood what was happening, and I will remember her forever.

The next day, she was working in MB and was my nurse there, and she again was incredibly patient, understanding, and empathetic as I navigated my postpartum recovery after a traumatic delivery. Whether it was providing assistance with breastfeeding or offering advice on recovery, her thoughtful support made the transition much smoother for me and my baby. She never hesitated to go the extra mile, and I truly felt like I was in the best possible hands. Her kindness, professionalism, and dedication are a testament to the profound impact nurses can have on their patients.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her by my side during such a life-changing experience. There has not been a day that's gone by that I don't think of her and wonder how she's doing. She often comes up in conversation with my family about her amazing bedside manners. She is a true asset to the Methodist-Willowbrook team, and I am deeply grateful for everything she did for me and my family.
