Our son is very shy and she made such an impact that he could joke with her and truly be himself. The bond they had in such a short time is something he will remember his entire life.
Our son developed pneumonia due to an underlying respiratory issue. Shortly, it tripled inside his left lung. Due to how quickly it had attacked his lungs, he was admitted. Upon arrival, Jessica Garcia began her interaction with him. He became obsessed with her due to her kindness. Jessica did not treat him as just another patient. She truly made an impact during our very stressful stay. When I had to run to the parking garage, he pressed the button to ask for help getting tucked in for bed. When I returned, he was red in the face from bragging that she came in, helped him get situated and tucked in for the night, making sure he had everything he needed. No matter how many times he asked for her, she came with a smile on her face. On Monday morning, Jessica came from the clinic, just to visit. That is going above and beyond. Nurses see so many patients, so for her to make the effort to see him before discharge made his entire stay so much better. The patient is very shy and she made such an impact that he could joke with her and truly be himself. The bond they had in such a short time is something he will remember his entire life. Thank you, Jessica! You helped make the stay much better. You made my mom heart so happy when my mental health was so low because of his oxygen levels. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you you for taking care of our little boy. Our whole world was in your hands.
