The moment I walked into the St. Charles infusion center, I was greeted by Jessica, who has worked at the ministry for a handful of years in different positions. As I sat down in the chair, waiting for my infusion; I watched her interact with the other patients there and she blew me away. She spoke to the patient as if they were their family member. She knew so many details of the patient's family members sharing stories regarding her own family. The culture was warm, and inviting and while it’s a place you go when you’re feeling so crummy; she knew just what to do to make you feel cared for and loved. During my infusions, they always ensured I was comfortable, checking on me consistently, and were so engaging, even to my family members who came in to sit with me. I’m blown away by her service and dedication. I left knowing God placed this nurse right where she was meant to be!
