I was in a terrible accident that left me with broken bones and a body full of pain one day before mybirthday.After spending two days in intensive care, I was transferred to ACU where Jessica cared for my needs.Her admirable spirit and warm countenance gave me hope to continue living despite my broken spirit.Jessica was sensitive to my needs and displayed the true meaning of what being a nurse represents.As a result of her compassion, I can move forward in my recovery.I'd like to acknowledge Jessica for the DAISY Award for outstanding work performance.
