I met Jessica a few years ago when I started going to the advanced wound clinic for treatment on a pressure wound. Most recently I was needing to have my legs wrapped and again Jessica was one of the nurses who took care of me.
While changing my leg wraps, she noticed I wasn't breathing right and said something. I wasn't aware I was having breathing problems. I ended up in the hospital with COVID. Thanks to Jessica, I was able to get the help I needed.
Then again, a few months later, she became aware of the fact that I was again having problems with my breathing. Again, I became hospitalized. This time it was my COPD acting up, and she was able to get a consult put in for my therapist.
