Jessica Barringer 2, RN

Jessica exemplifies the CHRISTUS values of Dignity, Integrity, Excellence, and Compassion in her dual roles as a team lead and chemo nurse. She consistently demonstrates respect for every individual, ensuring that all patients and team members feel valued and heard. She goes above and beyond to make sure that her team's needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly and without judgement. She is a wonderful example as a chemo nurse, has close relationships with her patients, and remembers important details that they share with her.

Jessica is also one of the first to jump into action when a team member needs assistance, and she uses her vast knowledge of chemo and nursing as a whole to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care. Jessica embodies the value of stewardship by utilizing her talents and resources in a collaborative manner. As a team lead, she ensures that resources are allocated efficiently and that her team works together harmoniously to provide the best possible care. Jessica is a strong leader who always focuses on the patient experience. She is a leader who proactively works to resolve an issue or concern. I have witnessed Jessica go out of her way with compassion and empathy to serve our patients and her coworkers. She is kind and caring and a great addition to the team!
