Jessica is an incredible nurse, a true asset to your hospital. She was extremely competent, kind, compassionate, helpful, and I could list many more positive attributes that I witnessed while I was under her exceptional care. As I was waiting for my discharge, my throat started to get numb and thick, which I feared was a drug reaction. I've had several drug reactions in the past which resulted in trips to your ER. She was quick to react in getting a doctor and trying to ease my fear. Her sincere and positive demeanor was greatly appreciated at this scary time.

Jessica by far is the best nurse I've had taking care of me. She is truly a great asset to the Reading Hospital. I was admitted to the hospital for about 4 days. Jess was my day nurse for the entire weekend. Jess was probably one of the best nurses I have ever had being a patient at the Reading Hospital and my parents said the same thing. When she would come into my room, she never made me feel like she was rushing or trying to get to the new patient she had to check on. She always made sure I had the medications I needed at the right time and made sure I was comfortable. She took the time to get to know me and really understand what was going on with my body that made me end up in the hospital which I appreciated very much. I ended up having to go for a colonoscopy on Monday morning so I had to do the prep for it the day before. 17 packets of MiraLAX was definitely not fun, but she made it more tolerable and always kept a positive attitude when she would come in. Going through something like this was definitely hard, but Jess did an amazing job as my nurse and made it that much better, because who wants to spend an entire weekend in a hospital bed?
Recently, I was re-admitted to the hospital. After I was admitted to my room, I had asked my nurse to go on a walk around the floor. While I was on my walk, I saw Jess on the floor and we both looked at each other and she remembered who I was. Even though she wasn't my nurse that day, she walked the floor with me and my mom and was just asking about everything that has been going on since I had left and took the time to just listen to me. Immediately when I walked back into my room, I said to my mom I hope I have her at some point again during my stay and I did. Again she was my day time nurse and it just made me feel more comfortable having the same nurse that I had previously had because she is so caring, hardworking, sweet, really good at her job, friendly, and overall the best nurse I have ever had. I am really thankful that she had been my nurse the two times I had been admitted to the hospital because even though I didn't feel really well, she did everything she could to help me. She also made my parents feel very welcome and would talk to them each time she was in. She always updated us on what was going on with the doctors that were handling my case. I can't say enough things about her. I really appreciated everything she did for me and I just hope she knows that. Thank you!
