It was after midnight when my grandmother was admitted to the unit we were very tired and irritated after a lengthy time in the ER. Jess was understanding and gentle with my grandmother. Jess took her time during her assessment and really listened to my grandmother. Jess showed compassion and made sure my grandmother was comfortable. Jess often asked could she get my sister and me something. After my grandmother got settled we left, when her status changed we were called back. Jess walked me to ICU explained everything and checked on my grandmother. She even returned after she got off work. She wanted to offer my family comfort; Jess was our angel on earth. Just know we will forever be grateful to Jess and how she made our experience a positive one to remember.
