Jessica also provided ice cream after I had been informed the cafeteria had been closed which helped soothe my soul.
All of the nurses I interacted with during my stay were amazing. I really appreciated the level of care I received. I am nominating Jessica as she was on staff with me on the worst night of my life so far. The evening that followed the day I had to say goodbye to my little girl. She helped me with a majority of things, including my first shower after delivery; she helped change out the IV, which was compromised by the water and took the time to stay with me and make sure I was as comfortable as I could be afterward. These simple actions really really helped me feel like a human again. She also provided ice cream after I had been informed the cafeteria had been closed which helped soothe my soul. She went above and beyond, and I'm so thankful for her and all of the other nurses involved with my care during my hospitalization. It was an amazing experience to have such a caring team, and it's hard just to highlight one.
I feel like I wish I could submit many of these forms especially to recognize the nurses with me prior to me delivering and right after as they helped the photographer who came in dress and pose my baby and take photos themselves of her. I will forever have and hold onto these memories of my baby now. I want to recognize all of the nursing staff involved with my care.
