Jessica showed great compassion and understanding toward my husband. No matter how grueling her day was, she made time to make sure he was doing ok. She knew that my husband was a quiet guy and not a complainer. His roommate was extremely loud and not very pleasant to be around. My husband was stressed, worried and upset about facing more surgery and needed rest. She had him moved to a private room which made a tremendous difference in making him more comfortable. We were so very, very grateful for that.
She always answered our questions and took the time to explain things to us so that we had a better understanding of what was happening. If she was explaining something to my husband and had to leave his room, she would say, "I'll be back" and she was! She was trustworthy and she always made us feel comfortable. My husband is a diabetic, and I told her that I needed help in putting together the proper diet for him when he got home. Well, the next thing I knew, Jessica put together all kinds of information for us and printed all the material out and called it, "Education for Mr. R". Wow!
Her kindness, her dedication, her professionalism, her positive attitude, her sense of humor and her skill and knowledge, surely make her extraordinary and a true DAISY Nurse.
