Jessica Crumpler, RN

I was admitted for a Cardiac Catheterization procedure for blockage. The entire process was frightening to me. Jessica met my husband and me at check-in, and she was very reassuring. To keep me distracted, she talked with me about family and everyday life. She was with me through pre-op and was there waiting for me in recovery. After the procedure was completed, she called my husband to tell him I was okay and explained the results. Later, she wheeled me down to the pickup area where my husband was waiting. Unfortunately, our car battery chose that moment to die. Jessica checked on us while we waited for assistance with the car and that evening. The next day (Saturday), I had further questions about post-procedure care, and she quickly responded with answers. Jessica epitomizes the competent, caring nurse. Nurses are the face of medical care, and Jessica is a great reflection of the nurses at Bon Secours. You cannot fake sincerity and she demonstrated it clearly.
