The compassionate care of Jess, RN, during our recent stay at MWH was a god send. Not only was she extremely competent and skilled with everything from IVs to medications to her understanding of our serious medical needs. Jess was kind, likable and took a genuine interest in us people. She treated us as though were her only patients though her workload was heavy. She was friendly, made certain we understood everything she and the doctors were doing or discussing and put us in touch promptly with the appropriate hospital professionals. When my husband was moved to another unit while in radiology, Ms. Culpepper personally moved every one of our belongings. All of this at the end of a tiring 12-hour shift. And finally, when walking down the hallway before leaving for her days off, saw me and gave a warm hug. We are very grateful for the excellent three days of car we received from Jess during a most difficult time.
