Jessica Earhart, BSN, RN, CCRN

Jessica was an enormous part of a young couples lives during their son's illness. Jessica helped to calm their fears, explaining everything to them while preparing their small son for open heart surgery. She made sure they were able to spend quality time with their son before his surgery, and included them in his care whenever possible. This helped them feel informed and in control. The young boy had a rocky path and was unable to live with his condition. Jessica was an invaluable resource by explaining the options available to them when they were faced with the unimaginable decision to remove life support. When life support was removed, Jessica stayed by their side during the time, hours after her shift had ended. Jessica was present for this family's journey from beginning to end. They feel her compassion, competence, and above all, her love will be with them always.
