It’s the “Telemetry Team” to the rescue – Jessica Fern, Phillip Gonzales and Laura Shaw were all superheroes to one patient and his family. A young patient was brought to the hospital with some very serious complications. Because the patient felt incapable of speaking for his care, his family took an active role, with the help of his nurses.
With consistent attention and open communication, Jessica, Phillip and Laura worked as a team to provided excellent patient care, and, as the nominator noted, “not only with this particular patient but with all their patients and colleagues.”
Continuing on, “They are an “A-Team” as far as we are concerned. They are exceptional nurses making a very hard situation easier because they were on my team. Hey, forget the smocks … they should have capes on their backs!”
