My wife was having our second child. Our first was a vaginal delivery with very little complications. Our second began with placenta previa, which led to bleeding episodes, and we spent time here at 35 weeks. We returned at 38 weeks with more bleeding, which led to a partial abruption. She ultimately had to have a C-Section, which went well, but was an unexpected change to our delivery expectations. We had Jessica as a Nurse two nights and she outshines all of Nurses we have dealt with both here and at other institutions. She was very knowledgeable, relatable, and most importantly, not in a hurry and ready to listen to my wife. She shared personal stories, which comforted my wife. Jessica explained the "why" of things that occurred and what to expect. It was a pleasure to have Jessica as our Nurse, and this hospital is lucky to have her on board as a staff member.Many thanks to Jessica for making my wife feel comfortable and at ease with this new delivery experience.
