Jessica Finney, BSN, RN was recognized for exemplary care provided to one of her patients suffering from post-operative abdominal complications. Her management of the child’s pain, continuous monitoring of the patient’s hemodynamic status, and on-going communication with the physician and family throughout the course of this crisis exemplified the great strength and caring of the TCU nursing team. With this extra care she ensured that the patient received the medical management needed in a timely manner while meeting the patient & family needs for communication and consolation.
