Jessica Gerhart 2, RN

We had a pediatric patient scheduled for an exam that required her to have a catheter placed. I had asked the peds nurses and they were unavailable due to having a critical patient. When I went to the ER to ask for assistance, Jessica jumped right up and volunteered her services. She gathered her supplies and came down to radiology. Jessica was able to provide compassionate care to the little girl and explained things so she was able to understand what was going to happen. She answered all of the parent's questions and was able to place the catheter with minimum discomfort to the patient. Because of her help, we were able to complete the exam with flying colors. Thank you for the care you provide to your patients every day and the excellent teamwork with us in radiology.
