I read the description of the DAISY Award and everything said here personifies Jessica. My dad has been a stroke patient for the past two months and this has been the most challenging time for us. This morning, Jessica responded quickly to my mom’s alarm and saved his life (I know it’s dramatic but her quick action and intervention made our worry disappear). Jessica exemplifies compassion and the consideration a patient’s family deserves. We have had a lot of amazing people but Jessica’s clinical and bedside manner are beyond exemplary. We felt honored to include her in the mix. One great interaction is all it takes to make a family’s gratitude felt. She has superseded all expectations. Thank you for doing what you do.
