Jessica was the nurse whose compassion and touch comforted me the most. She listened and cared deeply for how I was scared and needed support through the experience of my diagnosis. Jessica assisted through info, tips, encouragement, understanding, and later acceptance and support to help me come to terms with and focus on my body's recovery. Jessica also provided exceptional nursing care helping me to understand my medicines, keep me safe and taking the time to talk through a "plan" for our time together - I am a planner by nature so this was a good calming technique. Jessica's presence as my nurse was such a blessing and created a shift in my comfort and ultimately care, and I feel she helped give me strength and extra positivity that is so critical in recovery. That was truly the most important part - when you have a comforting, compassionate person caring for you, your health and well-being is so greatly enhanced. Jessica was my angel nurse while here. My family are grateful for you taking care of me. I was struggling through the greatest challenge of my life and now I'm leaving optimistic and grateful for the excellent care I received, which has set me up for a strong recovery.
