There are no words to describe how amazing of a manager Jessica is. She goes above and beyond for her team.
Jessica is an exceptional leader that has created an environment of acceptance, compassion, respect, and professional development in our unit. Earlier this year our unit moved to a new floor and she did an excellent job overseeing the move from beginning to end. She worked long days organizing and coordinating equipment, patients, and staff. As a result of her hard work the change was seamless and exceeded expectations. Throughout the process she encouraged a cohesive effort from the team. From supplies, equipment, staff, and especially with regards to patient care, her leadership resulted in a smooth, comfortable transition.
Jessica has supported my career growth consistently providing constructive feedback and offering opportunities for new experiences and knowledge sharing. She listens when internal and external stressors arise, providing a compassionate and attentive ear. She works with employees to adjust schedules when necessary for work-life balance. She is consistent, professional, approachable, and a constant advocate for her team. She helps make our unit wonderful and is the glue that holds us all together. I appreciate her every day.

There are no words to describe how amazing of a manager Jessica is. She goes above and beyond for her team. She works hard to ensure our unit has adequate staff. Her open door policy makes communication easy and welcoming. She has always shown the utmost respect while remaining professional. I have learned many leadership skills from her that I try to apply in the charge nurse role. She makes work fun! Her leadership skills and compassion for her team are unlike any other manager I’ve worked with.

Jessica sets the bar high as a manager. On a daily basis, she goes above and beyond to ensure our patients have an exceptional stay and care. She can be counted on to assist at the bedside with answering lights, patient care, and diffusing an unhappy patient outcome. She encourages our team to remain focused on one team one purpose. She recognizes all of us are individuals with our separate strengths but we function as a whole team relying on each other. She has built our team of nurses to be a family. We are lucky to have her.

Jessica is compassionate, empathetic, genuine, and always willing to help with patient care or just listen to what is going on in your life. She is an amazing role model by not only expecting her team to be compassionate and caring but by showing how it’s done. She goes out of her way to acknowledge everyone personally. Jessica’s caring and concerned attitude shines through. My mother has Parkinson’s and Jessica always asks how she is doing, and how I am doing since my mother recently moved in with me. I appreciate her kindness and genuine feelings of concern.
