My son was taken from the ER up to ICU, he overdosed by eating 2g meth, not the first time, so apparent suicide attempt. He was intubated and heavily sedated, completely non-responsive for 24 hours. I had never seen him like this, so it was very scary. Jessica introduced herself and explained everything that was happening and everything she was doing. What they were hoping for, what other possibilities were while showing great compassion for my son and us the parents. She was attentive and super focused on detail. I couldn't have asked for more. She was very caring and sympathetic towards us as we have lost our only daughter to suicide in 2016. As they weaned my son off the medication to see if he would breathe on his own, she spoke to him, assuring him over and over he was doing ok and encouraging him to breathe. So patient saying as long as it takes we'll be here, the doctor was very good as well. I think the best thing I could say is Jessica really cared about my son, not just doing her job!
