The family shared a grateful message that ended by saying, "This COVID-19 success story all started with Jessica Kunkel, CCU Nurse, and friend." The family told us that knowing Jessica was at her husband's bedside made them feel great peace since they could not be with him. Jessica was described in her nomination as "compassionate, funny, detailed, and exceptionally caring." The IMPACT committee is so proud to celebrate Jessica as she brings joy to others and exhibits compassionate care and respect for life while demonstrating clinical expertise.
