Every time I would get upset or have a problem, she was there. When I couldn't see the importance of certain treatment, she would rationalize it and break it down for me to understand why things had to be done the way they were. She cared enough to notice that something was off. She, for some reason, could calm me down instantly. She showed me that people do still care about others. She made me feel like I was worth someone's time and concern. She's sincere, yet also straight to the point. When I had a problem getting one of the proper meds, even after talking to the doctor, she talked to the doctor, and the next day it was there. I believe she should be commended for her true patience. Every time she was on shift, she would light up the room.

I’m also appreciative that she was always straightforward and honest; even if it was brutal honesty, it was always the truth. She would constantly check on me if I isolated to make sure I was okay. Due to my mental illness, I always feel negative or avoid being myself, but she made me feel "normal“. You can tell she really enjoys helping people in need.
