Jessica listened to my concerns regarding my sensitivity to anesthesia and facilitated calling in an Anesthesiologist Tech who chose an appropriate alternative drug to the customary drug used and monitored my vitals during the procedure. I felt safe, listened to, and in good hands. As a result, my fears about my heart and being overly drugged were addressed, and I was comfortable during the procedures. Instead of being overly medicated and passed out for 4 to 6 hours after the endoscopy and colonoscopy, I woke up in a reasonable amount of time after the procedures and was able to recover enough to dress myself and walk out of the hospital with my family member and be driven home to fully recover. For the first time in all of my previous experiences, my recovery was normal and without unpleasant reactions. I sincerely appreciate Jessica's excellent care and concern for my well-being. She is an excellent RN!
