My daughter was brought to the ER by EMS. By the time I arrived a few minutes behind the ambulance, she was being worked up by Nurse Jessica. Jessica provided exceptionally outstanding care during her entire shift. I truly believe her prompt assessment aided in saving my child's life. My daughter received crucial care in the treatment of P.E. in both lungs. Jessica carefully explained each phase of her care in a matter we easily understood. As a mom, this was the type of care that put me at ease. My daughter was comfortable and comforted. My daughter was admitted to ICU and later that same week she was downgraded to telemetry. Here is when I discovered Jessica is kind and compassionate. She paid a visit after shift simply to stop and say "hi" and check on her. Three weeks later my daughter returned to the E.R. in terrible pain. She and I both nodded and smiled at seeing Jessica's familiar face.
