When I found out that I was losing my baby at 15 weeks, it was the worst day of my life. Knowing that I would be going home from the hospital without my baby broke my heart. Jessica showed me compassion in everything she did. She listened to me crying, and she simply sat with me. I was not just another patient to her.

Jessica was my nurse for two days. When I delivered my baby boy, she was not there; however, she came in on her day off, a holiday, and made keepsakes of my baby. She took pictures of my angel that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I am grateful for nurses like Jessica who, even on the worst day of my life, treated me with kindness and showed extraordinary compassion. This nurse went above and beyond so I would have something to keep and remember my baby boy by, and will stay in my heart forever.
