I had orthopedic revision surgery at TMMC and was fortunate enough to be assigned Jessica as my day shift RN for my stay. I wanted to make sure you knew what an extraordinary RN Jessica is. My surgery was revision surgery to repair hardware failure from the original surgery. I mentioned that because it was distressing to me to have to undergo major surgery again so soon after the original because of a broken rod in my right femur. Jessica greeted me with a smile when I arrived and it immediately perked up my mood. Her attitude was so positive that it buoyed my outlook and that of my wife as well! During the 2 days under her care, she was responsive to my every need and often anticipated what I would need before I knew myself! Her knowledge of my type of surgery and familiarity with the challenges of recovery really helped ease my concerns. Her staff really picks up on her sunny outlook and made me feel like part of their "family". In short, Jessica is a truly exceptional RN who has the respect of her colleagues and, as a patient I knew I could not have been cared for any better. TMMC is fortunate to have her on staff.
