On Saturday, the Labor & Delivery unit was so very busy! All of the labor rooms were full and there were patients in prep/recovery. Feeling helpless at home, Jessica went in to help. She stayed for most of the day. The other departments were very busy, too, so she checked in on them and helped them in every way she could. The staff was so appreciative of her coming in and helping.

When we came on, we had 25 patients and 15 staff nurses. One patient already in prep/recovery laboring with an epidural, and then we had a complete patient come in and deliver naturally in prep recovery. Jessica was called early in the morning to be made aware of the craziness and she came up to the hospital. It was just so nuts, but it was so reassuring to have her there with us! I am just so proud to be a part of this hospital!
During the crazy, we had a code from the Assessment Center and we just all came together, and it worked out perfectly like it always does. I just wanted to send you a little note to let you know what an amazing job she did.

Jessica came in on a weekend to help when the unit was busy. She helped out in every way she could, including stripping the beds and helping clean rooms. Thank you, Jessica, for being such an outstanding nurse!
