Jessica noted that I was demonstrating physical and mental lethargy. Her assessment revealed a BP of 97/42 which is severely hypotensive for me. She effectively communicated with the doctor and by 3:30 pm my BP 151/63 and I was feeling so much better. She also accurately relayed the new orders to the evening nurse which allowed her to maintain my BP in a good range for me. Jessica also went out of her way to help me when she was not even my assigned nurse. She noted that my arm was excessively bleeding from a Heparin shot and ensured that my PT/INR was within a therapeutic range.
