Jessica Murillo is the true definition of a wonderful nurse. She was a nurse, a friend, a therapist, and a big sister all wrapped in one. I don’t have one specific situation/story, but I know that whenever she walked into my room I felt safe, and I knew I was in good hands. She was with me throughout my labor and my C-section. I remember the smile on her face when she showed me my daughter for the first time as I laid on the operating table. I will never forget that. I will never forget how she knew what I wanted/needed before I even asked. She respected all of my and my family’s wishes no matter how crazy they sounded. She was extremely helpful when it came to the baby and her needs. She would educate me on the smallest of things like diaper changing to big things like taking care of her umbilical cord. I will never forget that this woman came running at three in the morning for my smallest of needs. She is truly an asset, any hospital would be proud to have as a part of their labor/delivery team.
