Jessica was caring for an 87 year old patient and realized it was her birthday. During her break, she ran home and got some birthday decorations. While the patient was in the bathroom, she and other staff quickly decorated the patient's room. When the patient came out, they surprised her. The patient stated, "This was the best birthday I've ever had, and at 87, I've had a few."

Jessica goes above and beyond for her patients and shows kindness and compassion every day and is very deserving of this award.
