May 2026 Honoree
Jessica Nass, RN
Jess was working in the Women's Health Unit when a patient got a direct admission to the department after being seen at the clinic. The patient had been experiencing fevers and back pain for several days. Jess felt that the patient was having symptoms of a kidney infection with possible sepsis. As a float pool nurse who also works in the ER, Jess was able to get the patient treated for a serious infection and provide the quick care the mom and baby needed. After she left for the evening, she even called back to the nurses’ station and let them know they could call her at home if they had any concerns. Thank you, Jess, for using all your skills to give this mom and baby the best care!
Thank you, Jessica, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
