The father of a patient wrote the he wanted to let me know “ how wonderful Jessica Nyhouse was” when his son was brought in on a Sat. night. He ended up being admitted with pneumonia and it had been a stressful couple of days but Jessica was “really superb, very patient, great manner, very kind etc. I almost passed out seeing my son (18 months old) get a catheter but it was handled very well and the distress kept to a minimum. The other team members were also great and helped during the catheter/IV stuff. The biggest thing about the team was the “manner in which they went about their jobs and their attitudes, which for me was most important. They really demonstrated a caring and compassionate side which means a lot when you’re freaking out and seeing you baby in such discomfort.”
