... One day my Aunt told me that she had a very nice nurse named Jessica. Believe me, that is a HUGE compliment coming from my Aunt who is extremely critical of those taking care of her! I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica and I totally agreed with her. I have been impressed with Jessica every time she takes care of my Aunt. I am my Aunt's medical power of attorney and have many questions about her health issues. Jessica always answers them thoroughly and professionally. One time she needed to attend to another patient's needs and told me that she would return. She did come back to make sure all of my concerns were addressed. One day I mentioned to Jessica that I was worried about talking to my Aunt about going to rehab. I knew it wouldn't go well. Jessica didn't hesitate to ask me if I would like her to be in the room during this conversation. For a few seconds her kindness left me speechless. I told her yes, I definitely needed her support!

We entered the room and I started the conversation and as anticipated, my Aunt was not agreeable and I became too emotional to continue talking and Jessica was standing right by my Aunt's side. She moved in closer, got down to her level and very kindly and supportively explained why rehab was so important. My Aunt was listening to her and I sat there in amazement and my heart was very touched! She was there for my Aunt AND for me!

Beaumont is very fortunate to have her on staff and my Aunt has been blessed with having Jessica as her nurse. She is a true professional with a very caring heart.
