My father was hospitalized last week at Jefferson Regional. He had surgery for colon cancer. After surgery, he was brought to the 4th floor-North section of the hospital. I am writing to you because he had the most wonderful nurse for several days of his stay, and I wanted to be sure to tell you about her.
Her name is Jessica Olack and she is wonderful! She was my dad's nurse 3 out of the 4 days he was there and provided excellent care during that time. She was kind, friendly, efficient, attentive, knowledgeable; I could go on and on and there truly aren't enough glowing adjectives to describe her. She is young and in her first few years of nursing but is wise beyond her years. If we were unsure of something, we would ask her and she would go the extra mile to get us an answer or help us out in any way that she could. I don't think she ever sat down and she was attentive to all of her patients; always with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She is a true asset to your organization! Honestly, when my dad was discharged on Friday, my parents and I were joking that we would love to take her home with us! Jessica truly goes above and beyond to care for all her patients.
I know in your position, you may receive complaints about nurses or hospital staff, and may not hear as much praise about your employees, but I simply could not let time go by and not let you know how wonderful Jessica Olack is. Nobody wants to be in the hospital, however, Jessica made his stay so very positive and again, I just can't say enough wonderful things about her. Jefferson Hospital is so very fortunate to have her on staff. Most importantly, her patients are beyond blessed to have her care for them.
