She not only took care of me medically, but she also made sure I was comfortable and asked if there was anything she could do to make me feel okay or better. What really caught my attention was the way she took her time and trained the RN who was with her when they came into my room. Every time, I watched as she patiently made sure everything was understood: charting, taking care of me, and even showed me things that were above and beyond her duties, which she explained weren’t necessary but if so desired, to do so. Her mannerisms and professionalism impressed me so much that I had no choice but to fill out this DAISY Award nomination. She is a great asset to this hospital and has the ability to make patients feel safe, confident, and comfortable. She also makes sure that your requests are not only heard but carried out. This makes her very special. You are truly blessed to have her as an employee. She is a good person and an exceptional nurse.
