After 2 extremely worrisome weeks expecting reports of a blood clot in my leg, I reluctantly attended the ER. Ms. Patton was my nurse. Immediately she reassured me I was in good hands, got me a blanket, sat with me, and truly eased my anxiety. Her compassion and professionalism must be commended as I expect that during these trying times amidst COVID-19, everyone's compassion is tested. Jessica is a compliment not only to Haywood ER but to the nursing profession.
