My sister-in-law, W, was recently admitted. This was W's first admission to the hospital. She was scared and unsure of her outcome after her ER experience. Jessica Pease was her first morning nurse and had her for 2 days. From the moment she introduced herself, she put W at ease, you could see the care in her eyes and feel the compassion in her voice. Jessica is an outstanding nurse who takes every aspect of her job seriously. She has a wealth of knowledge in not only cardiac disease and medications but was also able to explain to W her newly diagnosed disease in a way she could understand. Jessica was reassuring in every conversation. She is a patient advocate and truly cares about not only her patient's health but their psyche. Jessica has helped to make this hospital stay less stressful and scary. She is an asset to University Hospital.
