I was still recovering from my C-section, after delivering a healthy baby boy when Jessica assumed my care. She was very attentive and caring. My daughter who was 2 at the time was watching as visitors came and went congratulating me on our new addition. All the while, my daughter waited for that same attention to be given to her since she never had to share those affections prior to her baby brother being born. Although I tried to dote on her as I always did, recovering from surgery made it difficult. Thankfully, Jessica took the time to notice my daughter and encouraged her to participate in the care of her mommy and little brother. She gave my daughter so much pride in being the big sister, that my daughter coined Jessica as "her nurse." It's been at least 3 years since this took place, but every time my daughter has seen Jessica she quickly rushes to me to point out that "there goes my nurse." I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Jessica. She is an amazing nurse.
