Jessica Pisco, Registered Nurse

I was admitted to the ACU ward with quite severe, non-healing ulcers on my right calf, and a less severe form of the same edema-related condition. Nurse Pisco was assigned the task of swabbing and dressing my legs in their revoltingly bloody, smelly, suppurating state. She had with her a student nurse, who was to learn by assisting. Having taken charge with confidence, she instructed her student in the surprisingly complex art of preserving strict sterility in treating my condition. This she did with a severity springing from her absolute dedication to the highest professional standards of nursing. I was moved to tears of joy, commended her to her face, and told her student she was lucky to have such a fine exemplar of nursing excellence as a teacher. Mahal Teacher! One must also say 'MAHAL' out of the love and profound respect this work of hers engenders.
