Jess and our CNA showered and decontaminated a patient with severe lice all over her body. Many staff were afraid or hesitant to enter this patient's room, but Jess spent over 90 minutes shampooing, combing, shaving her, and cleaning her room. During this entire process, Jess treated her the way she deserved to be treated: as a human being with inherent worth and deserving of dignity and the best nursing care.
