Jessica is the most patient, compassionate, and caring nurse that I have encountered. My 5 year old was that child that it took 4 people to hold down to get her shots that were required in order for her to start kindergarten. We unfortunately had to take her to the emergency department after being seen by her primary physician, as it was a concern that it was possibly appendicitis. Jessica came in calm and soft and approached my daughter as if she was her own. You could see the passion in her eyes from the minute that she walked into the room, it made her father and I feel more at ease. We felt as though our baby was not just some patient. She spoke to my daughter with such kind and understanding words that my 5 year instantly built trust with her, which is not very easy to do with my daughter. She was able to not only draw blood for lab work, but also able to insert an IV without anyone holding her down. Jessica not only helped calm my daughter's fears, but also was very supportive of her father and me. She explained everything that she was doing to my daughter in such terms that she no longer fears nurses and doctors. Thank you Jessica.
