I was in the ICU for 8 days and Jessica was very calm, patient, and respectful during my stay. I was on a ventilator and each and every time I called for her, even if she had just walked out of my room or if it was the 10th time, she treated me with loving care and a gentle calm spirit as if she had just met me for the first time. Jessica was patient as I struggled to communicate. She encouraged and supported me as I wrote in a notebook what I needed or questions I had. She was respectful and had a kind bedside manner with each and every contact. I appreciate her dedication to her career as it can be tough, happy and sad at any moment, I would expect. Jessica always greeted me with a huge smile and a warm heart. She even snuck in a quick hello when I wasn't her patient one night. I want her to know the impact she made on my recovery as well as many, many other past and future patients. Thank you, Jessica, for being a terrific nurse. I appreciate you.
