My 16-year-old daughter was admitted to the Trauma floor after a terrible car accident. She fractured her pelvis in multiple areas. We were so fortunate to land in the care of Jessica on the 3rd floor. From the time we arrived, she was so attentive to the needs of our daughter going above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and assisting with recovery. What was most helpful was her clinical knowledge which allowed her to explain in good detail the specifics of the injuries, treatment protocols which always included “the why” and simple tricks for recovery to make a difference after our visit. Jessica truly made a lasting impact on our daughter who may now aspire to work in the medical field one day and also our entire family. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
