Jessica was one of the most cheerful and enthusiastic nurses I have ever seen. My girlfriend was in a car accident and was at Banner for 3 weeks. Our first night nurse was Jessica, and she set the bar incredibly high. She not only took care of her patient, but to me and all the visitors as well. She spoke in one of the most compassionate tones I’ve ever heard and sincerely cared for everyone. She constantly popped in and asked how everyone was doing, along with fulfilling all of our needs. She would stay late to talk to her and the other visitors, including times when she wasn’t our nurse.

Jessica offered amenities that were never mentioned by other nurses, like extra blankets, towels, pillows, and a variety of food assortment, including root beer floats. Jessica always came in with a smile and surely helped our mental state by always looking on the bright side. She encouraged the patient to stay positive in tragic times and just made everyone’s day when she came in. For 21 days, Jessica was by far the best nurse we had, and I greatly believe she has had similar impacts on each and every patient. I truthfully hope she can be recognized for everything she’s done.
