My nurse Jessica is such a wonderful, caring, and compassionate lady. She took exceptional care of me during my stay at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Irving. She checked on me frequently, making sure I was comfortable and my pain level was tolerable. She cared for me with patience, in a very upbeat and pleasant manner, all while keeping a smile on her face. I felt like I was being pampered. She took care of me the way my own mother would while I was sick in my younger days. She gave detailed instructions on how to empty the drainage after my mastectomy to my children and me, as well as giving us precaution and care instructions for when I got home. She even handled the discharge procedure for the doctor, who was tied up with another surgery. I feel so lucky to have had Jessica as my nurse when I needed the help and care the most. I truly appreciate her and believe that she is a DAISY Nurse.
