The nurse was a wonderful caregiver for my husband throughout our very long stay. She was friendly, sensitive and very supportive as she continued to monitor my husband. She was not too busy to answer my questions and I felt that she was genuinely involved with our family as she would linger with us and speak gently to my husband. She helped me to stay connected with all his care, and celebrated with us when he began to show signs of improvement. She is a shining example of what high value there is in the human element and touch from a nurse who demonstrated to my family that she cared. We have been here at Kaiser for almost two months and she was a sparkle in our lives!
