It was a busy day in the trauma bay. GSWs, MVCs, the works. One of the patients in the trauma bay had just been put on comfort measures. She was in a world of chaos. This nurse willingly took on a 5th patient in order for this patient to be moved into a private, peaceful room. She played her favorite soul music and gave that patient a chance to die peacefully with her husband by her side.
