Jessica Thompson, RN

The following is Jessica's nomination:I was in the emergency room for abdominal pain.Jessica was my night nurse during my stay and I can't say enough great things about her. She took my pain and concerns seriously and did all she could to make me more comfortable. My mom and grandfather were there also and she always made sure to explain everything she was doing to them and kept them updated and informed. Whenever I pressed my call button she was there in a matter of seconds willing to help with whatever I needed. There wasn't anything she wouldn't help with. She would joke with us and tell stories to lighten the spirits. Overall, she made me feel human that was truly being cared for, not just another patient. She very much deserves this award!
